Salvador Dali

Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí was born in 1904 in Catalonia, Spain and would be one of history's most prominent artists. He specialized in surrealism and several of his paintings are used as examples when talking about surrealism as a genre. One example is one of his most famous works, The Persistence of memory (La Persistencia de la Memoria), which was completed in 1931. In addition to his paintings, Dalí also created works in film, sculpture, photography and text. He has collaborated with Walt Disney and Alfred Hitchcock among others. Dalí became known for his presentation of the bizarre and abstract. He always strived to find the most secluded guilds of the human mind.

In addition to his successes in art, Dalí also started a perfumery. The first fragrance was created in 1983 and was inspired by the love of his wife, Gala, after she passed away the year before. The perfume is called Dali Parfum and smells of incense, clove and sandalwood. The bottle is in the form of a mouth and the lid looks like a nose, a tribute from Dalí to his late beloved. After the artist's own death in 1989, Perfumery has been kept running and has regularly launched new perfumes. For example, Dali Fabulous from 2011 Where the bottles are completely dressed in gold. The main perfume Fabulous 1 – Dali scents aldehyde, musk and narcissus.
